We have built up a proud association with the world of fashion over the years in our role as sponsor of Paris Fashion Week and principle sponsor of London and Milan Fashion Weeks.
Our events in London, Paris and Milan play host to guest speakers, live show feeds and the latest Canon Professional Services (CPS) products on display. ‘Touch and Try’ areas also give our guests the chance to trial the latest Canon consumer products.
Our partnership with the world of fashion helps us to demonstrate the bond between fashion and photography and how our imaging technology helps to unlock the creative potential in everyone.

We Speak Image fashion project
In 2007, we launched a successful campaign across Europe aimed at supporting our association with fashion. The We Speak Image fashion project invited members of the public to upload their most creative and iconic images, which they believed represented the spirit of their European nation, to a unique Canon website.
The most popular and creative images from each nation were given to leading European fashion designers who used them to inspire a series of ‘national’ fashion collections, created with the help of Canon’s state-of –the-art imaging equipment. Designers included Matthew Williamson (UK), Elio Fiorucci (Italy), Jean Charles de Castelbajac (France) and Sisi Wasabi (Germany). The resulting fashion collections were exhibited across Europe, including at London, Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks.
As an official supporter of Red Cross Societies across Europe, Canon made a donation to the charity for every image uploaded to the campaign website. Find out further information on the Red Cross website.
