Amstelveen, The Netherlands, 3 June 2008: Canon today announces a new era for portable projection with the introduction of two new XEED multimedia projector models. The XEED WUX10 sets a new industry benchmark, with WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels) and the ability to display Full HD (1080p) video. The HD ready XEED SX80 combines SXGA+ resolution with exceptional connectivity, including a new ‘PC-Free Presentation’ feature.

While the XEED WUX10 forms an all-new addition to the XEED range, the XEED SX80 succeeds the popular XEED SX60 with a range of modifications and new features. Both models are ideal for use in boardrooms and conference centres, as well as specialist applications such as CAD, simulation and medical environments. Other possibilities include lecture theatres, sports and media bars, and professional photo applications.
