London, UK, 21 September 2010 – Canon Europe, world leader in imaging solutions, increased its share of the 44-inch aqueous large format printers in the graphic arts market in Western, Central and Eastern Europe by 5.5 points during the first half of 2010, compared with the first half of 2009. According to the data provided by research analyst, InfoSource, Canon now holds 32.1% of this area of the graphic arts market and is therefore the leading supplier to that sector.

Canon also increased its share of 24-inch aqueous large format printers in the graphic arts market by 3.4 points, so that it now holds 18.2% of the market sector in Western, Central & Eastern Europe. The complete range produce prints with increased accuracy and an extended colour range to fulfil professional graphic arts users' demands for more sophisticated print quality.
