Martin Trampe will continue with his responsibilities as Managing Director for Canon in The Netherlands during the integration process. This news follows the global announcement made on 22 December 2011, that Canon can now accelerate the integration of Canon and Océ now that Canon is the majority shareholder of Océ. Business integration is the preferred management approach in order to create a more unified and effective business across Europe. By combining the strengths of both the Canon and Océ organisations the business will be in a better position to profitably secure future sales growth. Van Helvoort commented: “I am delighted to be leading this exciting change in business for Canon and Océ in The Netherlands. It marks the start of a new era, where we will be able to provide enhanced products and services for our customers using the expertise of two printing giants.”
