This event will also showcase Canon’s first total modality, the Mobile C-Arm. Canon’s High End Mobile C-arm is an essential and revolutionary tool for cardiovascular imaging, general fluoroscopy and interventional procedures. Equipped with the high performance CSX Detector, the Mobile C-arm can capture high-resolution images and perform fluoroscopy with the lowest dose.
In addition to the high image quality, the Mobile C-Arm is designed to optimise usability and its flexible floating mechanism makes it easier to manoeuvre and position. The C-Arm of the unit makes it easier to conduct minute adjustments without having to move the whole unit, while the wide angle allows for a broader coverage of the patients body during intervention and general fluoroscopy. As well as launching the new flat panel detectors and showcasing the Mobile C-Arm, Canon will also unveil its latest compact digital radiography system, the CXDI-80C Wireless flat panel detector. The CXDI-80C Wireless is a compact detector for increased operability and freedom in diagnostic exams. It combines flexibility, high image quality and high sensitivity and is the choice for wireless radiography in a convenient package.
Yoshiyuki Masuko, Senior Director, Medical Systems Division, Canon Europe says: “Canon imaging technology is continually evolving in order to keep up with the ever changing and complex needs of the medical profession. ECR 2011 will see Canon showcase many of its most innovative and flexible radiography systems which are designed to have a positive impact on the lives of both medical practitioners and patients”. ECR 2011 will take place in Vienna, 4-7 March 2011. Canon will be located at EXPO A, booth 105.
