Detailed Features
WUXGA resolution and LCOS technology – A unique combination
Projecting at WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels), the XEED WUX4000 raises the quality bar for installation projectors. Images from a PC or Macintosh are delivered with exceptional clarity, while Full HD video is reproduced with perfect detail. Canon LCOS technology overcomes the typical side-effects of conventional image projection, producing stunning images without the unwanted ‘lattice’ or ‘rainbow’ effects.
Exceptional performance
The XEED WUX4000 employs the latest generation of Canon’s AISYS optical system, delivering a powerful 4000 lumens. AISYS optimises the performance of the LCOS panels, for results that cut through high levels of ambient light. A high 1000:1 contrast ratio ensures vivid colours and excellent black levels.
Canon Interchangeable Lens Range
The WUX4000 is the first model in the XEED range to offer a choice of high-quality interchangeable lenses. For most installations, the standard 1.5x zoom lens will be sufficient. However, a long-focus zoom lens is also available for larger venues, while the ultra-wide fixed lens is perfect for rear projection. Whichever lens is chosen, Canon quality is assured - ensuring that image detail is maintained without sacrificing brightness or image geometry.
Motorised Lens Shift
The WUX4000 features powered vertical and horizontal lens shift, ensuring straightforward installation. Vertical shift can be varied between +55% and -15% of image height, while horizontal shift can be adjusted between +/-10% of image width.
Flexible Integration and Versatile Connectivity
Designed for use with high-definition digital sources, the XEED WUX4000 incorporates both DVI-D and HDMI ports. A 15-pin VGA terminal is provided and three mini-jacks provide audio connectivity. Serial and network ports enable control and monitoring, while PJLink compatibility makes the WUX4000 ideal for AV system integration.
Easy Maintenance
Built to last, the WUX4000 has a modular design which facilitates easy servicing. The high-efficiency lamp has a lifespan of up to 3000 hours (in Quiet Mode) and is accessed from the rear of the projector. The air filter simply slides out from the side, while the projector remains in situ. Quick access is even provided to key optical components that have a finite lifespan, removing the need for complex dismantling. Maintenance has never been quicker or easier.

Gesundheit Nord Medical Centres
Canon’s video projectors deliver the sharpest images for the doctors in the ‘Gesundheit Nord Klinikverbund Bremen gGmbH’ group. Using Canon’s XEED SX80 Mark II Medical video projectors, it has modernised its day-to-day routine and digital X-ray systems are now used in daily consultations across four clinics in Bremen.
inamo Restaurant, London
In 2010 over 90 Canon XEED projectors were installed at inamo st james. The projectors are part of inamo’s proprietary E-TableTM solution, which lets diners order their meal, choose a digital table cloth, watch a kitchen ‘ChefCam,’ and even order a taxi home, all through a projected display on their table.
