Even if you don't have a portable iOS device, you can still enjoy numerous benefits via your home Wi–Fi network and PC.

Once you've installed the included Network Utility software, you can upload your videos to Facebook and YouTube directly from your LEGRIA, by following simple in-camera controls.

If you want to preserve your memories and free up space on your LEGRIA then simply transfer your footage to your PC without any cables.

Power to capture detail

Incorporating a proven technology from Canon’s professional camcorders the HD CMOS PRO sensor is equipped with a light gathering area that is 160% bigger than typical CMOS sensors. Larger pixels are able to capture more light – in the same way that a larger window will let in greater amounts of light. This means that whenever you’re shooting poorly lit or dark scenes, more details are captured with reduced levels of noise.

The HD CMOS PRO sensor also enables LEGRIA camcorders to capture footage across a wide dynamic range. Images remain sharp and life like, even in scenes featuring high contrast. Details in darker areas that would normally be difficult to see can be reproduced perfectly, as can images in areas of high brightness.

Power to keep steady

Canon’s Intelligent Image Stabiliser technology automatically selects the best optical image stabilizer mode to prevent blur. No matter how you move your LEGRIA camcorder, the Intelligent IS system will be working to create stable and steady video.

The Intelligent IS system switches between four different IS modes, depending on the shooting situation.

The Dynamic IS mode extends the stabilizing range during wide angle shooting. This gives you steadier video footage by compensating for low frequency vibrations.

The Powered IS mode helps you take steady video of distant subjects. When you’re using the telephoto zoom, Powered IS makes sure that the subject remains still and clear. This counteracts the severe camera shake that is all too often symptomatic of shoots using telephoto lenses.

The Macro IS mode is specifically tailored for shooting movies of macro subjects. This corrects blurring caused by the typical range of movements during macro shooting.

Lastly, the Intelligent IS mode will automatically detect when the camcorder is set on a tripod. When the Intelligent IS goes into tripod mode it is deactivated completely to prevent blur.

Audio makes up more than half of your movie viewing experience. It's simple to make your movies sound as good as they look with Audio Scene Select and a high-sensitivity, built-in zoom microphone. Just select from 5 scene modes and audio settings are optimised automatically. So whether your shooting in a forest, capturing a music concert or filming a a speech, you will feel like you are actually there in the moment.

Touch Decoration

The Touch Decoration mode allows you to add effects to your movies right away, without having to use a PC. You can add animation, text and graphics to your footage on the camcorder touch screen.
