The MVX10i offers superb functionality combined with superior technology

Visionary design
With a super slim and sophisticated design, the MVX10i can easily be operated one-handed. A new ultra small built-in light guide flash makes easy work of flash photography. The well positioned Tape/Card selector knob enables you to switch between movie and still modes easily during shooting.

Image resolution
A 2.2 Megapixel CCD produces ultra high-resolution video images with 1.7 effective Megapixel as well as still images recorded at 2.0 effective Megapixel. Zoom is 10x optical/200x digital for movies, 9x optical/36x digital for stills.

An RGB Primary Color Filter ensures reds, greens and blues are reproduced faithfully. DIGIC DV ensures the recorded colours of both movies and stills match the colours you see when shooting.

With MPEG4 your movies are routed to the SD Memory Card for easy transfer to your computer. The MPEG4 recording time is only limited by the size of the SD Memory Card.

Still photography
When it comes to shooting stills, a wide range of digital camera functions (including Auto Exposure Bracketing (AEB), selectable AF frame and continuous shooting) lets you handle any photographic situation with ease.

Printing
Direct Print lets you obtain superb photo prints quickly and easily by connecting straight to a Canon printer – there’s no PC required. PictBridge lets you do the same with any PictBridge compatible printer

Connectivity
Existing analogue recordings can be easily converted into digital format. With USB and IEEE1394 FirewireTM connectivity, transferring images to a computer is completely straightforward.

DV Messenger 2.0 software allows two-way communication over the internet. You can share digital photos and MPEG4 movie clips complete with sound. You can control the camcorder remotely and have a videoconference. In this way, the MVX10i becomes a sophisticated webcam.
