Best of both worlds
With Canon’s Dual Flash Memory System, you’re always ready to shoot – even if there’s no spare media to hand. Record up to 6 hours of HD footage to 16Gb internal memory. Use SDHC memory cards for extra capacity, or to share your movies with friends.

Instant AF and Super Range Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS)
Focusing errors and camera shake are more noticeable when shooting in HD. Instant AF and a Super Range Optical Image Stabilizer provide a unique solution to these two problems.

Flexible
Shoot with a range of optional peripherals. Manual audio controls, plus microphone and headphone connections, let you capture a great soundtrack. HDMI provides a simple way to get your HD movies onto a TV or compatible computer.

Keep on shooting
With low power consumption, flash memory lets you shoot for longer. The camcorder is also compatible with a high capacity battery pack for even greater shooting times. An Intelligent battery system displays remaining charge to the minute.

Advanced Photo Features
The HF10 lets you capture 3.1 Megapixel photos. Even take 2.07MP shots during recording or grab them from movies you’ve already made. A range of other advanced features are available.

Multiangle Vivid LCD
Preview your movies with family and friends on the 2.7" Multiangle Vivid LCD screen – easy for everyone to gather around. With HCAR surface treatment, images look sharper and colours are vibrant; screen reflection is also minimized.

Shoot, burn, share
The HF10 is compatible with Canon’s optional DW-100 – the easiest way to get your HD movies onto a DVD. Alternatively, PIXELA ImageMixer™ 3 SE is provided – organise, play back and edit your video clips on a PC, then convert them to other file formats.
