Processing power
Canon’s unique DIGIC processor gives the Digital IXUSi5 superb processing power that results in incredible image clarity, responsive camera controls and fast, accurate auto-focus. iSAPS is like a built-in photographer’s assistant; first analysing the scene before optimising camera settings, helping you to get the best results from every shooting opportunity.

Smart technology
Canon’s own high-performance precision optics give the Digital IXUSi5 the ability to capture a scene with incredible clarity, contrast and detail. The camera’s 9-point AiAF brings subjects sharply in focus, even when they are off-centre, and a 3cm Macro mode gets you really close to your subject.

Relive special moments with friends by shooting VGA quality movie clips with sound recording and playback**. And for great results with confidence in a wide range of shooting situations, the Digital IXUSi5 has five scene modes - such as Night Snapshot, Indoor and Portrait. Indulge your creative side with five Photo Effects, including Sepia, Black & White and Vivid Colour.

Perfect printing
Now printing photos is as easy as taking them. Connect your camera to any PictBridge compatible printer, push the Print/Share button and within seconds, you’ll have a full colour print in your hand - it is that simple. When connected to a Canon SELPHY CP series printer, you can even print handy ID photo prints.

Share the fun
For editing and retouching your shots, managing and laying out albums and creating slide shows, Canon’s comprehensive ZoomBrowser EX (for Windows) and ImageBrowser (for Macintosh) software is provided. Compile your own online gallery with 100MB of free space on the CANON iMAGE GATEWAY***.
