Easy to use
Commonly used Special Scene modes are positioned on the PowerShot A560’s Mode dial, making it easy to take tricky shots indoors, at night or when photographing kids and pets. The one-touch record/review button enables quick and convenient review of your images.

A 7.1 Megapixel sensor produces sharp high quality photos, enabling large prints and detailed crops.

4x optical zoom
The 4x optical zoom lens lets you get close to the action without sacrificing quality. It combines with digital zoom for 16x magnification.

Cutting edge technology
Canon's DIGIC III image processor delivers high-speed camera performance, superior colour rendition and cleaner images at high ISO speeds. iSAPS technology uses shooting scene information to optimise camera settings before a shot is taken.

9-Point AiAF
9-point AiAF makes sure that you can keep even off-centre subjects in sharp focus.

Face Detection AF/AE/FE
Face Detection AF/AE/FE ensures superb people shots by automatically detecting up to 9 faces in the frame and setting the correct focus, exposure and flash level. Face Detection Technology also enables Red-Eye Correction in playback mode. Fix red-eyes in the camera and make them look natural again.

ISO 1600 and High ISO Auto
PowerShot A560’s high ISO setting enables you to take excellent flash-free photographs in low-light conditions. High ISO Auto prioritises high ISO to enable faster shutter speeds, reducing the risk of blurred images.

2.5" LCD screen
The large bright 2.5" LCD screen is ideal for sharing images with friends and family. The selectable Grid Line Display helps with composition, while Night Display mode aids screen visibility after dark.

Shooting modes and My Colors
Choose from 14 shooting modes to get that perfect shot. 6 Special Scene modes assist with tricky lighting conditions, including Beach, Foliage and Snow. Further enhance your images with My Colors in-camera colour management tools.

High quality movies
Shoot extra long¹ 30fps VGA quality movies with full audio, or record QVGA movies at 60fps and analyse in sharp slow motion.

Direct Printing
Connect to any PictBridge compatible printer and push the Print/Share button for a full colour print within seconds. Connect to a Canon SELPHY CP printer and you can also print ID photos and movie stills.
