5.0 Megapixels
The PowerShot A460's 5.0 Megapixel sensor captures enough fine detail for large photo quality prints, with plenty of scope for post-shoot cropping.

4x optical zoom
The 4x optical zoom lens lets you get close to the action without sacrificing quality. It combines with digital zoom for an impressive 16x magnification.

Cutting edge technology
Canon's advanced DIGIC II processor delivers fast, responsive camera performance and superior image processing. iSAPS technology analyses each scene to optimise key camera settings even before a shot is taken.

Shooting modes and My Colors
Choose from 12 shooting modes to get that perfect shot. Eight easy-to-use Special Scene modes help with great results in tricky lighting conditions, including Portrait, Night Snapshot and Kids & Pets. My Colors allows special in-camera colour effects to be applied in real time to images and movies.

Movies
Make VGA quality movie clips with full audio. View them on the camera's LCD screen, or connect to a TV or PC for full screen playback.

Auto focus and 1cm Super Macro mode
5-point AiAF ensures that even off-centre subjects remain sharp and in focus. With Super Macro mode, you can focus as close as 1cm from your subject - perfect for capturing the fine detail of tiny objects.

2.0" LCD screen
A 2.0" LCD brings pleasure to framing and reviewing your creations. The selectable Grid Line Display helps with composition, while Night Display aids screen visibility after dark.

Direct printing
Printing is almost instant with the PowerShot A460. Connect to any PictBridge compatible printer and push the Print/Share button for a full colour print within seconds. Connect to a Canon SELPHY CP printer and you can also print ID photos and movie stills.

Conveniently powered by AA-batteries
The PowerShot A460 is powered by affordable, widely available AA batteries, ensuring that you can keep shooting for as long as you want to.
