Detailed Features
Native SXGA+ resolution
With native SXGA+ resolution (1400 x 1050 pixels), the XEED SX80 Mark II reproduces images with amazing clarity and sufficient levels of detail even for specialist applications. Canon LCOS technology avoids common projection image drawbacks, reproducing detailed images without the unwanted “lattice” or “rainbow” effects.
Exceptional brightness and contrast
With a generous 3000 lumens brightness and 900:1 contrast ratio, the XEED SX80 Mark II delivers clear, well defined images. Canon’s AISYS optical system maximises the performance of the highly efficient AC projector lamp, for powerful projection. Displaying deep blacks and vivid colours, every subtle gradation is reproduced with clarity and precision.
Easy placement
The SX80 Mark II is fitted with a Canon 1.5x powered zoom projection lens, specially designed to combat distortion and deliver perfect image geometry. In addition, the 10:0 lens offset makes installation exceptionally easy.
PHOTO image mode
The SX80 Mark II features a new ‘Photo’ image mode, specially designed for the optimum reproduction of sRGB photographic images. By taking into account the colour tone and brightness of the ambient light, photos can be reproduced with superb colour accuracy, regardless of variations in lighting conditions.
Fully automatic set-up
At the touch of a button, the projector automatically configures four key settings: Focus, Keystone Correction, Input Selection and Screen Colour Correction.
PC-Free presentations
The XEED SX80 Mark II utilises USB technology, for direct projection of image files from USB flash drives. Photographs, slides and other images in JPEG format can be projected directly from the flash drive. In addition, direct image display is possible from PictBridge-compatible digital cameras.
Comprehensive Connectivity
The SX80 Mark II is equipped with DVI and HDMI™ terminals, with full HDCP support. In addition, an on-board RJ-45 port is provided, for direct connection to a network. Control and monitoring is then possible, through integration with industry-standard AV control systems.
Quiet operation
Running at levels of just 31dBA in Quiet Mode, the projector won’t distract your audience with fan noise. Quiet Mode also extends lamp lifetime - up to a maximum of 3000 hours.
Convenient design
The sleek, gloss white bodyshell of the XEED SX80 Mark II blends perfectly into any office or boardroom.
