Pioneering ContrastPLUS technology delivers enhanced contrast and colour depth for your photo media printing, thanks to the additional black ink. You also benefit from a high 4800 x 1200 dpi resolution, using Canon’s advanced MicroFine Droplet Technology™ and Micro-Nozzles for 2 pl ink droplets. Ensuring a perfect finish, every time.

AND BORDERLESS PRINTING

At up to 23 ppm for mono and 16 ppm for colour output, this printer fulfils all your business needs effortlessly. It’s equally rapid for photo printing, producing a borderless 4” x 6” print in approx. 50 seconds. Advanced Precision Colour Distribution Technology also provides fast A4 full colour printing at up to 2.3 ppm.

DIRECT PHOTO PRINTING WITH
PICTBRIDGE & BUBBLE JET SUPPORT

Why wait when you can print photos almost instantly, without even using a PC. Just print directly from your PictBridge or Bubble Jet Direct compatible digital camera or camcorder. Enjoy fast, borderless printing on A4, 5” x 7” and 4” x 6” formats. With a handy photo paper tray there’s no need to keep constantly switching paper. Plus you can print directly on CD-R and DVD disks, which is far neater and easier than using labels.

SINGLE INK TECHNOLOGY

With individually replaceable ink tanks for all colours, Canon’s Single Ink technology ensures all ink is used, eliminating expensive waste.

HIGHLY PRODUCTIVE OPTIONS

When your office gets busy, this printer really produces. Just add on an auto duplex unit to save time and paper costs. A network adaptor allows the printer to be shared across most network environments. While a 250-sheet paper feed cassette increases the plain paper supply to a total of 400 sheets.
