Ultra thin, ultra compact Portable Colour Bubble Jet Printer

The Canon BJC-50 is just half the size of an A4 page and weighs 900g. Despite its small size the BJC-50 does not compromise on print speed or quality. The BJC-50 prints at up to 5.5 pages per minute and features Canon’s Drop Modulation Technology™ for high quality print outs.
The built-in Lithium-ion battery means that the BJC-50 can print without mains power, so it can be used wherever you want. And with a battery life capable of printing over 100 pages, it’ll see you through the most gruelling business trips. There’s also a universal power adapter supplied as standard, so that once you reached your destination you can easily continue printing and recharge the battery from the local power supply wherever you do business.
When you’re on the move you don’t want to be carrying and connecting computer cables. That’s why the BJC-50 has a built-in IrDA port for automatic infra-red communication with your PC. The IrDA port eliminates the need for the BJC-50 to be physically connected to your notebook- and therefore the need for cables. Just put your BJC-50 next to your laptop or PC and the data is sent directly to the printer. You’re just seconds away from a perfect print.
With the optional scanner cartridge installed, the BJC-50 becomes a complete portable office. The IS-12 Colour Image Scanner Cartridge transforms the printer into a 360dpi, 24-bit colour sheet-fed scanner.
