A flexible and highly functional Network Camera Server

A range of advanced functions
Automatically record the images you can't afford to miss. Use the motion-detection software that comes with the VB150 and plug trigger sensors into the server's IN/OUT device terminal. The camera will now record still images of events such as the opening of a door or window, activation of a light switch, or motion detection -- and automatically e-mail them to designated recipients. Or, it will capture images according to the schedule you set. Either way, you and your VB150 will never miss a thing.

Full flexibility and ease of operation

For the ultimate in video flexibility, the VB150 Network Camera Server can be installed without the restrictions of a network cable. With a PCMCIA slot for an optional wireless network card, there's another advantage to a Canon network video solution.

No matter where you are, you're in control of your VB150. Set up your initial network configuration with only your PC, a standard web browser, and the software supplied with the server. From that point on, you can easily adjust image quality, capture rate, and perform administrative tasks -- all through your web browser.

High-quality video transmission

Meet the demands of your multi-viewer requirements with the VB150 Network Camera Server. and feed live video to up to 50 clients simultaneously. The total number of clients depends on your network bandwidth, but this can be set in advance to ensure smooth operation. The VB150 lets you add interactive, current content to your webpages. Create a webpage on a memory card and plug the card into your unit. Broadcast moving images seamlessly to the Internet, creating an online experience that realizes the potential of the web.

Extensive connectivity for true versatility

The VB150 has all the connection versatility you need in a network camera server. The unit automatically switches between Ethernet 10 and 100Mbit, to ensure uninterrupted high-speed communication. As well, two built-in PCMCIA card slots are available for attaching a dial-up modem card, flash memory card or wireless network card. With this flexibility, the VB150 has all the connectivity options you need.
