Canon's latest Pan/Tilt/Zoom (P/T/Z) camera, the VC-C4 combines great looks, compact design, and ease-of-use never before available. We should know, since it was Canon who first introduced affordable, high quality remote controlled cameras, and has lead the way ever since. Our newest entry, the VC-C4, (backwardly compatible to our previous models), is our most technically advanced and affordable ever; great news for users who want a reliable P/T/Z camera they can count on for videoconferencing, distance learning, general video and even enhanced security/monitoring.

The most intelligent P/T/Z camera we've ever made, the VC-C4's shooting parameters can be adjusted and customised for almost any environment. A wide range of on-screen controls and a 32-button I/R controller makes it easier than ever to get the shots you want. Plus up to nine cameras can be daisy chained and operated from one (addressable) I/R controller or, via RS-232, you may control from your PC.

One look at the VC-C4 and you can't help but be impressed with the slick appearance that allows you to display it almost anywhere, while the incredibly small, light weight housing means it's never in the way.

Canon ’s digital signal processing system reproduces rich, smooth video images and precise focal control. A high-performance 16x zoom allows a wider viewing angle, with a large-aperture f/1.4 lens for optimum brightness. The VC-C4 camera pans to +/-100 ° and tilts -30 ° to 90 °, while the VC-C4R ceiling suspension model pans to +/-170 ° and tilts from +10 ° to -90 °. As both cameras are positioned in the middle of the system, this ensures high-speed, stable and precise camera movement.

Up to 9 VC-C4/VC-C4R systems can be controlled simultaneously from one PC, for use in a large conference room. The cameras can be ‘cascade ’connected in order via the R-S232C cord and then programmed for individual control. Also up to 9 pre-set positions as well as AE information can be stored easily. Just one touch of the wireless controller allows you to focus quickly on any subject.
