Following the continued shift towards electronic document capture solutions and the decline in demand for micrographics equipment, Canon plans to discontinue its micrographics business in EMEA region in Q1 2012. 

Canon was one of the early pioneers of this market, providing specialist micrographics equipment for more than 50 years following the introduction of its first Rotary Microfilm Camera in 1959. In that time, Canon has delivered high-quality and innovative micrographics products to meet the needs of our customers and support our valued partners.
