Despite the incredibly compact size, the MS400 can handle all film formats, utilizing a comprehensive array of film and fiche carriers - including combination film/fiche carriers and automated retrieval systems. A full range of zoom lenses ensures optimal viewing and scanning while minimizing the need to change lenses.
Digital microprinter system:
Canon offers affordable state-of-the-art digital systems for reading and printing microforms. Each system comes equipped with a video printer interface that allows a microfilm scanner to be connected directly to a Fileprint laser printer without a PC. Digital technology allows negative or positive film images to automatically be printed electronically, replacing the need for separate toners with a single, convenient cartridge.
Automatic enlargement printing:
Combined with the Fileprint 400 laser printer, the MS400 offers the exceptional capability of automatic enlargement printing. By simply selecting to print on A3 size paper, the screen image is automatically enlarged to fit the paper. An invaluable capability for the occasional need to enlarge large format images, while maintaining a small scanner footprint.
Easily integrated:
Offering PC and network connectivity, the MS400 provides easy access to stored documents and convenient digital conversion of film archives. The MS400 is ISIS certified scanner, so it can be easily integrated with a wide range of ISIS compatible software packages. A choice of optional SCSI II I/F provides flexible PC connectivity.

The MS400 provides a solution for integrating images stored on microfilm with today's advanced document management systems. With the simple addition of an interface board, the MS400 can be linked to a PC for use in a wide range of applications.
