Bring the MF7170i into your team and it will enhance your communication, acting as the networked focal point of all document activity. Send urgent faxes, print sales reports or copy customer proposals using one cost-effective solution. Intelligent send functionality allows you to scan in colour and black and white documents and convert them to JPG, PDF or TIFF format. Then you can instantly forward them to email addresses, FTP sites, databases or iFax. PDFs can also be compressed by 90% so transmission is fast with no loss in quality.

Look the part
Print with outstanding clarity at 16 pages per minute and up to 1,200 dpi. Produce double sided and stapled reports using the optional internal finishing device. Productivity can be enhanced further with an additional tray to separate printed and copied output. Alternatively, an inner two-way tray for non-stapled collation can be incorporated for maximum versatility.

Seamless network integration
Integration into your network is seamless and both Mac and Windows environments are supported. Set up and management is effortless thanks to our suite of web management tools. Network printing is enabled using Canon’s advanced-performance proprietary printer language UFR II Lite and PCL.

Space saving and scaleable
The compact MF7170i can cope with some big challenges. You can choose additional paper up to 1,080 sheets catering for paper sizes up to A3. Document finishing can be handled internally so the device can more easily fit into small office spaces.

Cost effective and environmentally responsible
Innovative on-demand fixing technology enables an energy saving sleep mode to be automatically initiated when the device is not in use. Once needed, the device is fully operational again in seconds. In addition the machine conforms to the
International Energy Star Program.

Advanced support
An innovative e-Maintenance facility can be incorporated which monitors the device and requests a technician visit should a problem arise.
