The imagePRESS C1 is designed to be used where quality can make a real difference. Where good simply isn’t good enough. Speeds of 14ppm in colour and 60ppm in black and white make this engine ideal for multi-page proofing of multiple page print jobs. Furthermore, these productivity levels - combined with extensive media and finishing capabilities - make it the quality choice for light production short-run colour, and print on demand too.

Exceptional consistency on any media
Canon’s innovative Advanced Image Transfer Belt (AITB) system overcomes the problem of uneven toner distribution by employing a partially elastic belt, which adjusts to form a near perfect match with the media being used, evenly dispersing the toner for exceptional image consistency on a huge variety of substrates.

Offset-like images
A new system is employed which eliminates the need to use oil within the fixing process resulting in zero blistering, and an even look and feel that’s comparable to offset production.
An advanced image stability control system ensures stable supplies of the appropriate amounts of toner to achieve superb colour consistency over long periods.

Outstanding media support and comprehensive finishing
A detailed media library allows the imagePRESS C1 to automatically fine-tune the print parameters for optimum performance with every type of substrate, including coated media. Extensive finishing capabilities such as saddle stitch booklet making ensure a huge diversity of production capabilities.
