Windows 7 compatibility:

Inkjet printer, multifunctional, fax and scanner products:

Canon will support its inkjet printer, multifunctional, fax and scanner products with Windows 7. Canon will be distributing drivers in two ways after Windows 7 is released.

1. The drivers will be available pre-installed in Windows 7 operating system or available for download via Windows Update.

2. The drivers will be available from the Canon web site after the launch of Windows 7.

Laser printer, multifunctional, fax and personal copier products:

Canon will support its laser printer, multifunctional, fax and personal copier products with Windows 7.  Detailed information will be available closer to start of sales of Windows 7.

Camera/SELPHY products:

Canon is testing compatibility of its digital SLR, digital compact camera, digital video camera, projector and compact photo printer products with Windows 7.  Detailed information will be available closer to start of sales of Windows 7.

Visual Communication Cameras:

Canon is investigating the compatibility of our Visual Communication Camera products with Microsoft Windows 7. Detailed information will be available shortly after the release of Windows 7.

Mac OS X 10.6 compatibility:

Canon will support its inkjet printer, multifunctional and scanner products with Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard). 

Canon will start distributing the drivers via Canon web site 2-3 weeks after Snow Leopard release.
