If you have upgraded your computer's OS from XP to Windows Vista before uninstalling the Canon software for XP, the software needs to be deleted.
Delete them from "Uninstall a program" in Control Panel.

The shortcut icon may not be deleted even after performing the uninstallation in the above way.
In such a case, right-click the shortcut icon, then select Delete from the menu.
