Recording modes

The camcorder offers 5 recording modes. Changing the recording mode will change the recording time available on the memory. Select MXP or FXP mode for better movie quality; select LP mode for longer recording times. The following table gives approximate recording times.

* Scenes recorded in MXP mode cannot be saved onto AVCHD discs.When saving recorded scenes to discs, use Blu-ray discs.

Changing the recording modes

1. Touch [ ].

2. Touch [Menu], and then [ ].

3. Drag Screen up or down and touch [Recording mode].

4. Touch to select the recording mode.

5. Touch [ ] to exit from the menu.
