FAQ: Why are my pictures blurred or showing ghost-like patterns when I use the flash on my analogue compact camera?

Helpful Information:

If the camera has a Slow-Sync or Night mode it is possible that pictures were taken in this mode.
The shutter speed (2 sec. or longer) set by the camera in these modes, combined with possible camera shake, causes this effect.

Solution:


  • Place the camera on a tripod or steady surface.
  • Use the self-timer or remote control to release the camera.
