FAQ: My digital compact camera has a 'Red-Eye Reduction' feature. Why do the people in my pictures still have red eyes?

Helpful Information:

Red-Eye is a result of light rays from the flash entering a subject's eyes and reflecting back the colour red from the retina's blood vessels.

Solution:

The Red-Eye Reduction mode on digital compact cameras can aid in minimising the effect of Red-Eye, but cannot completely eliminate it.
