It has been discovered that with certain digital SLR cameras that have been repaired at our Authorised Service Facilities (ASF's), the following problems occur and the camera will not operate normally -
1. When certain Eye-Fi cards are used, the camera cannot be turned on normally.
2. With the power switch on the camera set to off and when a general SD card is removed promptly after opening the card slot, the camera will not turn on normally.
Temporary Workaround
For either one of the phenomena above, if the battery pack is removed and then reinstalled again, the camera will turn on normally. However, for phenomenon 1, if an affected Eye-Fi card is inserted into the camera, then phenomenon 2 will occur again so please use a general SD card for shooting.
