Solution:

The machine may be in Energy Saver mode. The machine will automatically go into standby 5 minutes after the last print or copy by default. This can be reset by pressing the button lit green on the top right of the keypad (above the cancel key) or by requesting a print job.

To extend or reduce the delay before Energy Saver starts:

  1. Press the Additional Functions Key located above the display panel (a circle with an asterisk inside). This lamp will then flash until cancelled.
  2. Use the left or right arrow key until TIMER SETTINGS is displayed.
  3. Press OK. Use the left or right arrow key until ENERGY SAVER is displayed.
  4. Press OK twice. Use the left or right arrow key to change the amount of minutes before energy saver mode is activated.
  5. Press OK and then the orange CANCEL button

To turn the Energy Saver Mode on or off:

  4. Press OK. Use the left or right arrow key to select ON or OFF
  5. Press OK and then the orange CANCEL button.
