MODELS: SmartBase™ PC1210D / PC1230D / PC1270D

In order to share your printer across a network follow the instructions listed below.

To enable the printer driver to be shared

  1. From Windows click on START then select SETTINGS and then PRINTERS.
  2. Right click on the PC1200 Series icon and select SHARING from the drop-down list.
  3. Click on 'Shared as' and type in a name for the printer.
  4. Click on APPLY and close the printers box.

The printer is now ready to be shared across the network.

To share the printer from another PC

Install the printer driver on the PC that requires access. When installing and selecting the port that you wish to print to, browse the network to find the host PC. Proceed to complete the installation in the usual way.

The PC is now ready to share the SmartBase printer.
