FAQ: When will my printer use the black cartridge and when will it use the colour cartridge?

Everything that is printed and uses less then 98% of the black colour will be printed with the colour cartridge.

Once this level exceeds 98% of the black colour, printing will be done with the black cartridge. This means a full black text without colours.
