Canon lenses cover Madrid Open in 3D.

Canon High Definition lenses were used for the first Spanish live 3D broadcast at the singles final of the Madrid Open Tennis Championship 2010.

6 RIGs of cameras (12 cameras in total) were used for the live transmission;
10  Thomson HD LDK 8000;  More than  8.500 m of triaxial cable , 4 RIGs  of P+S TECHNIK y 2 more owned by Kronomav.
Besides it was used 2 mini cameras assembled in its respective mini RIGs.
Material described in the above paragraph was some of the equipment that OVIDE B.S. installed and worked with for  ATM Broadcast in this event.
To cover the event it was also used the signal from Spiderdercam that was converted from 2D into 3D through the processor JVC IF-2D3D.
Lenses used were Canon models, HJ22x, HJ17x and the newest wide angle HJ14x4.3 (all of then in full servo configuration). Lenses were controlled by an specific system developed by OVIDE B.S engineering division AF-BOTH X2 and also with the special device developed by Canon in order to control in a synchronized mode the movement of zoom and focus in both lenses simultaneously which is a must in a 3D production.
