20-year gas fastness Sometimes photos aren’t kept in albums and frames; instead they are on open display. ChromaLife100+ is tough against typical atmosphere gases, so these images won’t fade over the long term – even if you leave them out. The real-world atmosphere contains mixed gases that cause colour fading. Ozone (O3), Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) and Sulfur Oxide (SOx) must all be considered factors that affect the permanence of images. With ChromaLife100+, gas fastness has been improved with the combination of new dye ink and Photo Paper Plus Glossy II PP-201, Photo Paper Pro II PR-201 and Photo Paper Pro Platinum PT-101. This helps to achieve gas fastness of approximately 20 years.
