Canon will be celebrating the Power of Image at photokina 2012 (18th to 23rd September; Cologne, Germany), with its biggest-ever presence at the world’s premier imaging show. Celebrating photography’s Power to Connect, the Canon stand looks beyond individual products to a world where they connect to the cloud and each other, and where powerful images transcend language and cultural boundaries. The result is an environment that celebrates photography and reflects the powerful role it plays in people’s lives – from the moment of capture, right through to printing and sharing images, with both friends and family.
Cementing its position as the pioneer of DSLR movie shooting, Canon will also be offering insight into the latest DSLR videography techniques in its role as premium partner of the photokina ‘shoot movie Park’. Aspiring videographers can visit the park to develop their skills, get hands-on with the EOS 5D Mark III, and receive advice from professional videographers Lawrence Richards and Richard Walch.
Canon’s stand, located in Hall 3.2, is a diverse, interactive space designed to inspire and educate. You can view the Canon stand layout by downloading the PDF document at the bottom of the page. Those not attending the show can keep up to speed here, where videos will provide a summary of each day’s events – ensuring everyone can experience the Power of Image at photokina 2012.
