Megapixel video and stills
A lightweight Megapixel camcorder, the MVX450 also has all the features of an advanced digital camera, delivering great photos on paper as well as eye-catching video on the TV screen.

True widescreen
The MVX450 is geared for high-resolution true widescreen 16:9 shooting and features a wide 2.7" colour LCD screen, allowing you to monitor exactly what you’re recording. While a level marker helps to line up the horizon on the LCD, there’s also a colour viewfinder and a one-push button to switch between widescreen and normal 4:3 shooting.

20x optical zoom
A powerful 20x optical zoom lens, with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and variable zoom speeds, allows the MVX450 to get the most out of its Megapixel CCD.

DIGIC DV’s vibrant colours
Vivid, realistic colours are reproduced exactly as you remember them thanks to Canon’s DIGIC DV. DIGIC DV is an image processor that, by providing separate signal paths for video and stills, optimises the quality of each. Capturing video and photos at the same time is also possible.

One-push direct printing
Connected to a compatible printer via a PictBridge cable, digital photographs can be instantly printed with a push of the Print/Share button. Alternatively, stills can be uploaded to a computer via Hi Speed USB.

Easy control
A joystick controller allows all of the camcorder’s on-screen menus to be navigated swiftly and simply, while the wireless controller allows you to be right at the heart of the action and still keep on shooting.

Low-light shooting
Even the darkest conditions are no problem for the MVX450 in Night Mode, which uses a white LED to add some light to the occasion and record great looking video to tape.

Built-in sliding lens cover
With a built-in sliding lens cover, the camcorder’s lens can always be protected no matter where you take it.

Software supplied
The MVX450 is bundled with powerful software tools for managing both stills and video footage, including Canon’s ZoomBrowser (Windows) and ImageBrowser (Macintosh).
