Powerful 3.2 Megapixel sensor
It’s not just killer looks that make the Digital IXUS II exceptional. It has an impressive array of technology too. Because of its 3.2 Megapixel CCD you can print up to A4 without loss of detail. A 6.4x combined optical and digital zoom takes you in closer. Driving it all is Canon’s high-performance DIGIC processor - the beating heart of the Digital IXUS II. DIGIC offers, among many things, improved image quality and autofocus accuracy.
Intelligent 9-Point AiAF system
Having an Intelligent AutoFocus system with the Digital IXUS II means now an even larger area is covered by the camera’s focusing system. It looks at nine focusing points in the area you are shooting and works out the correct focus required quickly and accurately.
Movie mode with sound
Between ‘still’ shots you can make a mini-movie (with sound), edit it ‘in camera’, share it via-email – even play it on TV.
Print without a PC
You get full-colour prints in your hand in remarkably quick time with Direct Print. Simply connect the Digital IXUS II into the compatible Canon Card Photo Printer CP-200 or CP-300, or to one of Canon’s Bubble Jet Direct printers to get stunning prints in no time at all.
Post-shooting options
You can download, file and organise images on your computer with included software applications (ZoomBrowser EX for Windows or ImageBrowser for Macintosh users). You can also share your shots with family and friends online through CANON iMAGE GATEWAY*. *This service is not available in all countries.
