And with Canon Visionary Technology, this camera delivers results to match its looks.
The IXUS eye
With a powerful 3.2 Megapixel sensor you can print enlargements right up to A4 in size. A 2x optical zoom (approx. 6.4x combined) gets you close to the action, while the 9-point AiAF delivers accurate focus, even with non-centred subjects.
A mode for every moment
When you want to point and shoot quickly, Auto mode is there to take full control and make all the necessary setting adjustments to deliver consistently brilliant images. Manual mode puts you in creative control, allowing you to alter a vast array of camera settings. Stitch Assist mode helps line up a series of images to create stunning panoramas that can be merged later with the supplied PhotoStitch software. Movie mode lets you take up to 3-minute movies with sound.

Home printing
Printing without a PC has never been easier. Simply connect the camera to any Canon Direct Print or PictBridge compatible printer and push the Print/Share button for immediate, stunning photo prints. The button also simplifies online sharing to any Windows PC. With a Canon Compact Photo Printer you can even print sequential frames from a movie clip, or handy ID size photos.
Easy online sharing
With Canon’s ZoomBrowser EX (for Windows) and ImageBrowser (for Macintosh) you can arrange photo albums, crop photographs and adjust contrast and brightness with ease. Online sharing is simple with 100 MB free storage space on CANON iMAGE GATEWAY - your own personal online photo gallery.
