With the Digital IXUS v³, beauty goes beyond the surface. The 3.2 Megapixel CCD captures all the information you need, allowing printing up to A4 without any loss of detail whilst the new high-performance DIGIC processor ensures superb colour reproduction. The Digital IXUS v³ features a retractable 2x optical zoom lens (max 6.4x combined digital optical zoom) giving a wide range of shooting possibilities and its intelligent 9-point AiAF system means your subject will be perfectly focused. Whether you shoot in horizontal or vertical format, an Intelligent Orientation Sensor notices the difference – allowing more accurate metering and positioning your shots the right way up when you upload them to your PC. Movie mode lets you make a mini-movie complete with sound. You can edit your movie in-camera, share it via e-mail and even play it back on your TV. With Direct Print, vivid full-colour prints appear in your hand in just three simple steps. You can print to the Canon Card Photo Printer CP-100 or to a Canon Bubble Jet Direct printer, without the need for a PC.
