The SELPHY CP500 is incredibly quick. Its newly designed print engine delivers postcard size images (100 x 148mm) at an incredible 63 seconds (using a camera incorporating DIGIC II) - giving you more time to be creative in other ways.
Print options
The SELPHY CP500 offers a choice of print sizes, from the most popular postcard size and wide size** 100 x 200mm prints, to credit card size and fun mini-stickers for the kids. When connected to a Canon camera with the ID Photo Print feature, the SELPHY CP500 can create different sized photo-booth style ID prints for passport and other ID purposes.

Weighing in at just 850g in a super compact size (178 x 120 x 58.6mm), the SELPHY CP500 is the must-have accessory for your digital camera. Its two-tone colouring and metallic finish looks chic in any contemporary home. Compatible with over 30 Canon digital cameras, the printer supports all Canon Direct Print features and is always ready for use. For printing from a computer, the SELPHY CP500 is supplied with Canon’s ZoomBrowser EX (for Windows) and ImageBrowser (for Macintosh) software.
