Measuring just half an A4 sheet in size and weighing only 900g, it’s the world’s smallest colour Bubble Jet printer, so it fits neatly into any executive briefcase.
Though ultra-compact and small, the BJC-55 is big on print performance. With print speeds of up to 5.5 pages per minute in mono and up to 2 pages per minute colour, the BJC-55 allows you to work up until the last minute. The BJC-55 is equipped for high quality printing too with Canon’s Drop Modulation Technology™.
The BJC-55 has a built-in Fast IrDA port that uses infra-red communication eliminating the need for cumbersome cables without sacrificing speed. Simply place the BJC-55 alongside your notebook or PC and the data is sent directly to the printer. You’re then just seconds away from the perfect print.
Canon has built a Lithium-ion battery into the BJC-55 so you can print without mains power. Capable of printing approximately 100 pages, the battery will keep you printing even while travelling on longer trips. The BJC-55 also comes with a universal power adapter as standard, so whatever your destination, you can recharge the battery or print direct from local power.
If you are printing more than one page, just fit the optional Auto Sheet Feeder ASF-50 to allow continuous printing up to 30 sheets.
The BJC-55 scans as well as prints to give you an all-in-one mobile office. Just insert the optional IS-12 Scanner Cartridge into the BJC-55 and it instantly converts into a useful 360dpi 24-bit colour sheet-fed scanner. |
