The BJ-W3000 excels in producing exact line drawings and complex images, including perspective view and 3D rendering. Resolution is a high 720 dpi addressable and 360 dpi in full colour.
The powerful print heads designed with a 160 nozzle for black output and 144 nozzles for colour. Printing speed is a fast 2.3 minutes for a monochrome A0 drawing (draft mode) and just 7.9 minutes for full colour A0 output (normal mode). This rapid printing speed results in an overall increase in productivity, generating faster output for final proofs.
An affordable outlay makes Canon's BJ-W3000 an attractive investment. Running costs are also reduced, as there are 4 separate prints heads as well as 4 ink tanks. This means inks tank can be replaced separately, without replacing the entire head or other ink tanks. Automatic calibration after each replacement ensures optimum quality at all times.
A clear LCD display allows easy, interactive operation. Canon's unique ink level indicator combines optical ink level detection and dot counting for absolute accuracy, with 3 levels displayed (ink remaining/nearly empty/out of ink). Paper handling is flexible as both sheet media and roll media can be used, with continuous roll output. As the print head height is easily adjustable to 3 levels, different types of media and thickness can be accepted, to handle a wide range of applications.
