Tower Bridge

Information

Built in 1894, to cross the Thames River, the Tower Bridge is one of London’s most recognizable bridges. Between the two towers at each end, which are both designed in the style of a medieval castle, is a drawbridge that can be raised to let large ships sail through. The Tower Bridge is perhaps London’s most striking bridge across the Thames.
