Amstelveen, The Netherlands, 29th January, 2008: Canon have once again invested in their European audio visual projector business by announcing their biggest ever presence at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) – the No.1 show for Professional AV and Electronic Systems Integrators. The enlarged and significantly enhanced presence will provide a key opportunity for prospective business partners, distributors and AV specialists to discover Canon projectors and discuss possible applications and business proposals. Also present on Canon’s stand will be Larivière, the medical imaging specialists, whose AcuScreen PRO 2.0 solution – based on Canon’s XEED projectors and developed in partnership with Canon – has just been launched across Europe following a successful pilot in Germany.

“One of our key goals for 2008 is to work with our AV channel partners to show end-users the quality advantage that the XEED range and LCOS technology provide” said Julian Rutland, European Business Development Manager, Canon Europe. “With this approach we firmly believe we can further strengthen our position in the SXGA+ segment, while providing margin opportunities for the channel. Our enhanced presence at ISE is a key part of this strategy.” Canon’s ISE 2008 stand – with more than three times the floorspace of last year’s presence – features:
