Explore – Inspire – Improve
The Future Book Forum 2017, enabled and supported by Canon, will take place from 27th – 29th November in Munich. Recognised as one of the most innovative events in the industry and with an inspiring and collaborative format, this years’ forum will focus on “The Smart Book”. In particular, we will focus on Education 4.0.: How is the world of education evolving for children, students and throughout life? We will explore the big trends towards more modular, collaborative and lifelong learning to understand the new opportunities for content and the role of the smart book in supporting this.
For the whole industry - from publishers to printers, retailers and readers - we will analyse the new developments in both digital and printed books, how they increasingly interact, the ways in which content can be used in multiple ways, the new technologies to enable this, emerging business models to improve profitability and new opportunities for growth.
These are just some of the topics which participants from across Europe will discuss in workshops and round tables during our two-day event. The first day will have a strategic focus, tailored to business leaders' and decision makers' interests, while day two will be more operational and include practical demonstrations and case studies.
For the past four years, Canon Europe has hosted the Future Book Forum, bringing the key leaders from all major European publishing houses together to develop concepts and define the future of their industry. Click here to explore what happened at the Future Book Forum 2016
