Proven concept
The ColorStream 3000 Z series offers excellent DigiDot® quality for brilliant output plus the same industry-leading flexibility as the ColorStream 3000. The series consists of four family members, ranging from 48 up to 127 meters per minute and a print width of up to 21.25" (540 mm).
The ColorStream 3000 Z series can be configured with up to 6 colours for monochrome and full colour printing, and allows the use of special inks such as MICR or security inks to add extra value. It also offers unrivalled productivity and sustainability thanks to unique capabilities that reduce paper waste, the HeadSafe concept and supreme ease of operation.
DigiDot imaging technology
The ColorStream 3000 Z series uses the industry’s most reliable print heads with DigiDot piezoelectric drop-on-demand technology. By varying the ink droplet size it produces crisp details and smooth halftones with less ink. That ink efficiency and DigiDot durability strengthens the leading sustainability of the ColorStream 3000 Z.
Streamlined design for best fit
The ColorStream 3000 Z series builds on a successful family and packs its capabilities into an extremely compact design. With a depth of only 1.4 meters the ColorStream 3000 Z boasts the slimmest continuous feed inkjet design available. It fits easily into tight environments and reduces the overall floor space required by one third to deliver an outstanding output to floor space ratio.
The z-factor
The ColorStream 3000 Z series acquired its name from its unique integrated feature – z-fold paper support The first fully integrated stack-to-stack continuous feed inkjet solution, it offers optional input and output feed stacks, inherited from the well-known VarioStream 7000 family, for short run stacked paper production.
Seamless workflow integration
Powered by the SRA® MP controller, which features the latest advancements in AFP/IPDS (IS/3), and the PRISMA® software suite, the ColorStream 3000 Z series seamlessly integrates into industry-standard workflows. Support is included for numerous data formats including PDF (APPE 2.6), PCL 6, LCDS, VIPP, PPML and for host connectivity such as Fujitsu or IBM MVS.
