PIXMA’s innovative technology makes using your printer easier and more efficient than ever. The latest range incorporates economical features like auto power on and 2-sided printing that help you save paper and energy. PIXMA gives you maximum convenience with minimum waste.
Auto Power On
Easy printing and energy saving
For convenient Wi-Fi printing the Auto Power On function automatically turns the printer on when you start printing. Thanks to the Auto Power Off feature, USB connected printers can automatically switch off if left idle for a set amount of time.
Reduce printing noise
Quiet Mode automatically lowers printing speed to significantly reduce operating noise, for near-silent printing around the home. You can set this option from your computer or directly from the printer screen, and can customise it to stay on all day, or only turn on at specified times.
Save paper with auto duplex
Most PIXMA printers and All-In-Ones have integrated Auto 2-sided Print, which enables automatic double-sided printing for professional-looking documents. It also reduces your paper consumption and helps the environment in the process.

2 on 1 printing
Save paper and ink
While printing a draft copy of a document you could use 2 on 1 printing. This way two pages of a document will be printed onto one sheet of paper saving you ink and paper. The option of printing multiple pages on a single sheet is available on all PIXMA printers.
Save money with XL inks
Save money on genuine Canon ink with the optional high yield XL cartridges which allow you to print more for less. Save with Twin Packs and Multipacks - these convenient bundles offer great value.
Whether you are buying a replacement ink cartridge or a brand-new printer, the number of pages you can print from a single ink cartridge – also known as the ‘ink yield’ – is an important consideration.
Take control of web printing
Easy-WebPrint EX is a plug-in for Microsoft Internet Explorer that makes it simple to select key sections of a web page before 'clipping' them to a single document for printing.
Canon recycle scheme
Canon operates inkjet recycling schemes in select countries. Up to 100% of the old cartridge is recycled, either into new cartridges or other products and as a result no part of the cartridge goes to landfill.
