Expo Talks: Digital skills, now and for the future

Businesses around the world are feeling the very human effects of a huge-scale acceleration to digital. Effectively, technology has sped off into the distance, leaving the skills of much of the workforce behind. This isn’t just limited to specialist programming and development – employers are finding that they are also picking up the slack on day-to-day digital basics. 70% of young people expect their employers to invest in on-the-job training, but many employers are struggling to do so.

In the first of a series of webinars, where we explore a world of change through technology, Alex Thurgood, our Digital Operations Director talks to Stefan Tornquist, Senior Vice President of Research at Econsultancy, about how organisations can meet the challenge of the low supply but high demand of digital skills and the opportunities out there for upskilling if you’re looking to progress.
