Who is it for?

This upgrade is especially useful when you wish to keep an easy record of the shooting settings or the subject of an image.


Examples:


  • Professional sports photographers can voice tag the goal scorer, score and match time.
  • Wedding photographers can voice tag the names and relationships between people in group photos.
  • Fashion photographers can voice tag the name of the model and designer at the catwalk.
  • Landscape photographers can voice tag the weather conditions, location or use of a filter.

Important Information

The Voice Tag and Canon Log upgrades are mutually exclusive, meaning your camera cannot operate with both upgrades at the same time. If you have previously purchased a Canon Log upgrade and then chose to purchase a Voice Tag upgrade, you will lose Canon Log functionality (and vice versa).


  • Voice Tag can be added to stills images (JPEG & RAW) and in playback mode only.
  • You cannot add a voice memo to a protected image.
  • Voice memos cannot be recorded with an external microphone.
